By filling in, printing the Repair Form out and sending it OR your own information page to us with your Console/PC Computer, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Terms & Conditions:

In the following Terms & Conditions, "you" and "your" refer to the Customer and "we", "us" and "our" refer to Arcadia Home Entertainment Ltd.

All free estimates on any Games Console or Computer are subject to the original Manufactures Warranty Seal being intact and untampered with in any way or form and the Games Console or Computer showing no signs of any attempted opening of the Games Console or Computer. Any Games Console that does not fall into the above will therefore have an automatic £10.00 charge to estimate the Games Console or Computer's problem & cost. The £10.00 charge will be taken off the full repair cost.
For example: the repair cost is £29.99 but the £10.00 Estimate Charge has already been paid for which would leave a balance due of £19.99 to pay.

If the Machine is beyond economical repair or you do not want to go ahead with the repair then the £10.00 Estimate Charge is non refundable in any way & cannot be used to pay for any other service or purchasing of products.

The reason for the above is that we often find people have been inside a Games Console or Computer and created further problems and/or issues.


All Games Consoles and Computers repaired by us are fitted with a Warranty Seal which we sign and date. If these Warranty Seals are found to have been removed, broken or tampered with in any way we reserve the right to cancel our Warranty on the repaired or fixed product.

In the unlikely event that a repeat problem arises with your Games Console or Computer within the warranty period on a problem that we fixed, then we reserve the right to charge postage and packing on Games Consoles & Computers repaired under our Warranty.

All Games Consoles & Computers returned outside our Warranty period or with a Warraty Seal that has been removed, is broken or tampered with in any way will not be repaired under our Warranty and we reserve the right to charge you the full Repair Cost for the Repair.


All Games Console Mail Order Repairs are subject to a Postage Return Fee of £4.99.

Computer Postage Return Fees vary due to the very different weights, sizes & styles of Computer Cases. These will be charged at the Postage Cost plus a Handling Fee.


When a Games Console or Computer is dropped in to either of our stores for repair, you are given a dated Receipt detailing the Games Console type or Computer left with us including its serial number. Please make sure this Receipt is kept safe as it is needed when collecting the Games Console or Computer. If you do not bring the original receipt when returning to collect your Games Console or Computer, we then require two suitable proofs of identification. Both must have your full name and address on them and be from a suitable source; Driving Licences, new style Passports, Bills and Bank Statements within the last six months are acceptable, but Bank Cards, Birth Certificates, Official Letters older than 6 months and various other items are not deemed suitable due to thier lack of details or age.


Any Customer's property left at either of our two stores that has not been paid for or collected within 90 days of us receiving it will be considered as abandoned & we will therefore dispose of or use the console in any way we see fit to recover our costs.


Until payment is paid in full for any repair or estimate, we reserve the right to withhold your console until full payment is made, including Postage Return Fees.


Any repair that is made by us to your console is the only part that is under Warranty from us, we cannot take responsibility for unrelated faults on the same Console.


Our Warranty does not cover any accidental damage or misuse. Any repair that is caused by the product being dropped or misused, such as a PSP LCD Screen been broken, is not covered by our Warranty. For example, if we fitted a new screen and you then dropped the Sony PSP causing the screen to break again, our warranty would not cover this.


It is your responsibility to package the product appropriately, not ours.

It is also your responsibility when sending goods to us that the product is sent via a Trackable Singed For Service with a suitable Insurance Cover. This is important for you just in case the product does not arrive with us.

Please note that we accept no responsibility if your goods do not arrive with us or your products arrive damaged in any way. Your Contract for the sending and handling of the product is with your choice of Postal Service or Courier Company. All Claims for Compensation must be made through them & all costs to send the product back to you are your responsibility


Please note that Arcadia Home Entertainment Ltd. is an Independent Corporate Entity. We are in no way affiliated with any other company & do not carry out warranty work for any other companies. If your product is still under the manufactures warranty it is recommend that you contact them first before deciding on choosing us to perform the repair subject to the above Terms & Conditions.
